Executive Summary

The physical security at this branch was evaluated by our team regarding to security, theft protection, and money handling. Unfortunately, we found that the company employees need more training. The company needs to invest in training material biannually for new employee as well as existing employees to ensure they are performing to the highest level to satisfy customer’s need. The employees should always act professional with a secured and safe manner. The cash management needed to be redesigned for employee’s safety. Our team have noticed that the cash counter do not have a barrier. Furthermore, the cash safe was opened and it has been broke for several months. Employees also stated that no one signed the guess log. Also, the door should also require either a pin pad or key card to gain access.

Introduction

The recent physical security inspection proved to us that this company is having a lot of issues of theft, lack of security policy, underperforming training staffs as well as weak security design. There are employees that were underperforming, and lack of respect to the customer. There are also concern with Marvin situation that some of the products were stolen were being used for his own benefit. Employees such as Mark and Jen were confused on what their daily task in the company. They seem clueless of what they really doing and lack of professional to their customer.

• Repair wall safe

• Inform security and terminate employees for theft
• Reconstruct Cash Management office and add barrier
